Stories can be created, communicated and expressed in different ways
This week was all about creative thinking and reflection. Students created shoe box stories, drew pictures, designed a plan of action and wrote about it. They learned how to plan stories and reflect on them in order to make improvements.
The students will be presenting the stories to Early Years classes next week.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please read information from Ms.Sharon about Hepatitis E
Due to the current Hepatitis E outbreak in Walvis Bay, please note the following, especially if traveling to the coast:
Hepatitis E:
Hepatitis is an inflammation/infection of the liver caused by viruses, toxic substances including alcohol) amongst other causes. Infectious hepatitis is caused by viruses e.g. Hep A, B,C,D and E, to name a few. (Some of us had Hep A as children, when it was almost considered one of the childhood diseases). The incubation period is between 15 and 40 days, and one becomes infected by ingesting food and /or drink contaminated by an infected person. The saliva, stools, blood and other body secretions of a Hepatitis E carrier should all be considered infectious.
Signs & Symptoms:
Should any of these symptoms develop please see your doctor immediately.
Strict and consistent handwashing and use of hand sanitizers is a must, especially after using the bathroom and before eating. Food and drink should be obtained from reliable sources.

''One world many stories''
One of our inquiry provocations in class.
At the moment, students enjoy asking and creating questions.
What are the ways of telling stories? It was one of the questions. The students collaboratively express their opinions and came to the conclusion that we can tell the story through:
- dancing;
- singing;
- painting;
- drawing;
- acting;
- and re-telling
Let's see how did go...
There are two performances missing due to some technical problems, will post it on Monday.Enjoy!
Durban, your classmates were super happy to hear that you are a boy. Now we have 8 girls and 8 boys. During assembly, Ms. Beth welcomed as well; his brother Rigby (2P), Ariel (1J) and two Student Interns - Rianne and Kimberley.
