Money is a difficult concept. Image result for money namibian dollars
We try to make as many fun activities as we can. Students complete money challenges. We have done so far:

  • ordering items from the cheapest the most expensive;
  • students could spend N$ 50.00 in our shop and which items can you buy?
  • students played board games, buying properties, doing shopping...
  • some student explained well their challenge by recording findings on Seesaw.

Here are some students in action...

A message from Ms Laetitia

The aim of this lesson was that the students create their favourite moment of the story
using the dough, their favourite characters or some group like Japie's one decided to recreate the end of the story. The students recalled in French the words of the animals (vocab) that they met in the story and the short song in French that often comes back within the story. Your students demonstrated so much creativity in French class this morning.
So proud of them.
Bravo Grade 1B!

  • How can we make N$1.00?

  • Students started with 'Money challenge 1'
  • They could select items they like in the shop and put them in the order from the cheapest to the most expensive one.

  • More activities with money tomorrow and next week...
