End of the unit 1

Action: How do we want students to act?

In class today, students decided on their actions and reflect on those actions in order to make a difference in and to the world around us( school community).

During the action, students will apply their knowledge of the learner profile and attitudes, show results of the learning and personal development.

We want to engage...
We want to give it back to the community ...
We want to have responsibilities...

The students decided that all people in our community are important.

Here are the examples of student actions:

David proposed:
'Give back to the community!'- students can donate a book, a toy or piece of clothing. Books will be sent to the Library, toys to EY1 and clothes to Student Council.

Eli-Aishe proposed:
'Help new families'.- We have a new student starting on Thursday.

Cayden proposed:
'Pick up trash'- students will clean after second breaks.

Japie proposed:
'We need to look after the birds and plants'.You are welcome to send some bird food (if you have at home)

Zara proposed:
'Let's recycle'. Students will create recycling bins next to our class.
