This week in Grade 1B

Measuring tools in Grade 1b. 

This week students looked at different measuring tools. They compared, measured and estimated. We inquired into different types of measurement : length, distance, mass, volume and temperature.  Students brought a lot of different measuring tools such as, measuring type, scale, measuring spoons , cups, thermometer. Students developed measurement ability by knowing the need for identical units, relationship between units and zero point on rules.
